EuroAble,  a call centre that started as a CSR project by Eureka Forbes 13 years ago, is today a livelihood for many differently abled people. Its the first call centre in the country, and the first of its kind in Asia, fully staffed and run by the disabled. Located in NASEOH (National Society For Equal Opportunities For the Handicapped) building in Postal colony, the office is accessible through a ramp,and has large workstations keeping in mind space requirements of people on wheelchairs or with crutches. There is a team of about 120 differently abled employees working at EuroAble taking more than 2000 calls daily. Through EuroAble, Eureka Forbes has been able to address the ecosystem that has facilitated the inclusion of the Differently Abled into the workforce. Vinath Hegde, Senior General Manager, EuroAble , who spearheaded this project and designed and developed the call centre, speaks exclusively to Chembur Pulse.
