Sunday Streets, a wonderful initiative by Mumbai Police to encourage Mumbaikars to step out and reclaim a part of their area for four hours every Sunday, where children and adults can engage in fun and healthy activities such as yoga, cycling, running, walking pets without fear of traffic. Here’s a glimpse of activities this morning at Chimney Garden. It was fun to watch a group of senior citizens play lagori, a game most of us grew up playing. If you haven’t yet participated in the Chembur Sunday Streets….then please do with your family, friends and pets next Sunday.

It was really a wonderful intiative by the Mumbai police that chembur had witnessed onn Sunday morning 6sm to 10 am.. I had taken my pet for Dog walk and joined others who had Aldo got their pets. It was so amazing.. No traffic no bikes passing by. Or any smoke pollution and the road was just free for all… This Sunday we had a Dog Parade wherein we had a good turnout of parents whth their beloved pet….
